State Police Won’t Say How Many Complied With Safe Act Registration

The Glens Falls Post Star is reporting that State Police are refusing to release how many New Yorkers have completed the online form to register their rifles under the safe act…a spokesperson for the state polices is quoted as saying that state law makes that information about the safe act confidential and is not subject to freedom of information requests.
