HORNELL, NY – Hornell Police report the arrests of Jim Tigner, 51, Maple Street Canisteo, and Wilbert Grant, 62, Canisteo Street Hornell. According to Hornell Police, on Wednesday, August 1, in the noon hour, police stopped a vehicle that was near Hornell High School. Hornell Police say that they had gotten a tip that this vehicle was on it’s way back from Rochester, with crack cocaine in it, and that there was intent to sell the drugs in both Hornell and Canisteo. Officials with the Hornell Police Department say that there was crack cocaine, money and other evidence inside the vehicle, of ongoing cocaine sales.
Both Tigner and Grant were remanded to Hornell City lockup, pending arraignment.
