HORNELL, NY – Mayor Shawn Hogan says that construction has begun on the “Residences At Hornell Apartments, which are being constructed by the Bassett Group. These will be high end apartments, which will be near the Hornell Airport. This is land that was annexed into Hornell a year and a half ago.
Hogan also says that Work starts next week for the new luxury apartments on Fairlawn Avenue. There will be 60 luxury apartments with attached garages. Groundbreaking for those apartments, which will be built by the Reidman Corporation, will be in September.
The mayor also reports that there is also a proposal from a company called Park Grove Realty to put 22 market rate apartments in the old Marion Rohr building on West Main Street…then, there will be some new apartments in the old Burdett building on Seneca Street…
