CANISTEO, NY – The Canisteo board of trustees gave the green light for the addition of 6 new volunteer firefighters Monday night. The applicants had to make it past the Steuben County Sherriff Arson Conviction Check; Canisteo Fire Company Board of Directors; Canisteo Fire Company Majority Vote; Canisteo Fire Company Board of Fire Commissioners.
Village Mayor Bill Tucker commented that if they made it through all those stages of approval they deserve to be members of the dept. Below is a list of the new additions:
