AVON, NY – Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty reports that that when a deputy tried to conduct a routine traffic pullover in Avon on Saturday, that a 31 year old Rochester man tried to drive away.
The Rochester man is said to have driven his car on private property through several lawns and then jumped out of the car, and tried to run into a crowd of people at a gathering at the East Avon Fire Hall.
The suspect is facing numerous charges including reckless endangerment and driving under the influence of drugs.
