60 Year Old Allegany Co Man, Who Was Covid Positive, Has Died

A 60-Year-Old Male is the 66th Allegany County Resident to Pass Away as a Result of COVID-19.

The Allegany County Department of Health (ACDOH) is sad to report to our residents and community that there has been one additional COVID-19 related death bringing our local total to 66. This death, a male age 60, was due to complications or a consequence of COVID-19. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, and we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time.

It is imperative that Allegany County residents continue to wear a mask, follow social/physical distancing protocols when possible, wash your hands often to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and GET VACCINATED. We continue to see deaths across Allegany County as a result of or a consequence of COVID-19. We ask the public to consider getting vaccinated in order to protect our school districts, hospitals, businesses, and communities.
