A Rough Weekend For The Giuliani And Zeldin Campaigns

June 26, 2022

Rudy Giuliani got slapped in a grocery store in Staten Island. The New York Post reports, that an employee of the grocery store who was allegedly angry about Friday’s Supreme Court reversal of Roe V Wade, slapped the former NYC mayor, and hard, on the back. The grocery store employee is facing a charge of assault of a person over the age of 65.

From Andrew Giuliani: “Innocent people are attacked in today’s New York all of the time. This particular incident hit very close to home. The assault on my father, America’s Mayor, was over politics. We will not be intimidated by left wing attacks. As governor I will stand up for law and order so that New Yorkers feel safe again. This message has resonated with voters throughout my campaign, leading up to Tuesday’s primary.”

Also, somebody put a swastika with a death threat on it, on a Zeldin sign in the Long Island town of Huntington. Here is Zeldin’s statement: “In the United States, we settle our scores at the ballot box, and this type of raw hate must never have any home on Long Island or anywhere else in our state and country,” said Zeldin for New York spokesperson Katie Vincentz. “Congressman Zeldin is thankful for the Suffolk County Police Department as they work to identify the perpetrators. Congressman Zeldin is more focused now than ever on Saving Our State.”
