On June 10th, 2024, the Alfred Police Department reports the arrest of 22-year-old Adam H Brewer of Hornell NY, following an investigation into an incident that happened in the Village of Alfred a few weeks prior. Investigation into this incident revealed the Brewer allegedly caused several thousand dollars in damage to private property. As a result, Brewer was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief in the 2nd degree (Class D- Felony). Brewer was processed and released on an appearance ticket, set to appear in Village Court on a later date.
On June 14th around 11:15am the Alfred Village Police Department reports the arrest of 36-year-old Brett J Phillips of Alfred NY following a 9-1-1 report of a Domestic disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Phillips was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of breathing to another person, Harassment 2nd degree, and Criminal Mischief 4th degree (preventing request for emergency assistance). Phillips was processed and released, set to appear in Village Court on a later Date.
