On his weekly press conference call yesterday, Congressman Tom Reed (R, Corning) noted more than once that he believes that because New York State’s Health Department won’t allow fracking, that the state to pay the landowners who won’t be able to do hydrofracking on their land. “The governor should consider compensating those individuals,” Reed told reporters.
