December 26th: Allegany Co Reports 27 New Cases

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 18.8 million people, and there have been over 330,000 deaths. According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 914,522 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 29,396 deaths statewide. As of 3:30 p.m. on December 26, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

Confirmed Cases: 1,742 (27 new)

Recovered Cases: 1,509

COVID-19 Related Deaths: 52 (Depending on reporting times and agencies, this figure may vary between different reports.)

Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date: 7,055

Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 6,253

Currently Quarantined/Isolated: 802

Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date: 1,453
