Drug Arrest in Dansville

DANSVILLE, NY – Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty reports that an Almond man was pulled over in Dansville, for routine traffic violations, and that $1,000 in cash and some cocaine was found inside of the Almond man’s vehicle.
 
Officials say that Joseph Fredrickson, 29, Almond, is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (Class D Felony), and that a passenger, David J. Parker, 25, Whitesboro, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (Class D Felony).
 
Both Fredrickson and Parker were turned over to Sheriff’s Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and arraignment. Both were held in detention overnight and arraigned in Dansville Village Court before Judge Weidman on Saturday morning.
 
Parker was held on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond and Fredrickson was held on $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond. Both were returned to the Livingston County Jail where they will be held.
