September 14, 2016

HORNELL, NY – WLEA News has heard from a top GOP source, that it is being rumored, that the majority of county GOP chairs from the three counties: Steuben, Monroe and Livingston, might possibly choose former New York State Assemblyman Joe Errigo (R, Livingston County), to take Nojay’s place, as the Republican candidate for the 133rd Assembly District.

The other official who was suggested and hoped for by many people locally, is Hornell GOP Leader, John Buckley.
Update: 3:22pm – Buckley has withdrawn his name from being considered for Assembly.

Barbara Baer is still in the running, and will be on the ballot, on the Democrat side.
