HORNELL, NY – Hornell Police Investigator Tom Aini says that over $3,000 in heroin was confiscated in two traffic stops in Hornell on Friday evening, by Hornell Police Officers Ryan Harrison, J.R. Emo and Steve Hanrahan.
There was a traffic stop at 6:15pm Friday night on Main Street, during which, police say that $2300 worth of heroin that was packaged for street sale was found, and a traffic stop at about 9:30pm on Friday night on Elm Street, during which, police say that $850 worth of heroin was found in bags that were packaged for street sale.
Charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, for the 6:15pm Friday night traffic stop were:

Jana Hall, 34, Olive Place, Hornell
Charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, for the 9:30pm Friday night traffic stop were:
Mark Eveland, 49, River Street, Hornell
Sarah Brown, 31, East Avenue, Hornell
Matthew Bailey, 32, Elm Street, Hornell
Brian Dodge, 35, Route 119, Hornell
All of the suspects are now in Steuben County Jail.
