HORNELL, NY – State Police based in Allegany County report the arrest of Kenneth C. Coppage II, age 29, of Hornell, for Grand Larcany 3rd and multiple counts of Forgery 2nd. According to troopers, Coppage was found to have used stolen checks to withdraw in excess of $26,000 from the checking account of a Town of Independence resident.
Coppage was arraigned in the Town of Belfast Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of bail ($25,000 cash/$50,000 bond). He will appear in Town of Independence Court later this month.
