Hornell Police Charge Troupsburg Residents For Allegedly Selling Drugs On School Grounds

HORNELL, NY – Hornell Police Investigator/Sgt. Tom Aini reports the arrest of Matthew Goodwin, 25, and Shauna Goodwin, 34, of Harkenrider Road in Troupsburg, for allegedly selling prescription drugs illegally on school grounds in Hornell.

Hornell Police also impounded a 2011 Toyota Corolla as part of the investigation. Both Goodwins are charged with one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance (4th degree), criminal sale of a control substance on school grounds (a class B felony), and criminal possession of a controlled substance (5th degree, a class D felony). The Goodwins were remanded to Steuben County Jail, without bail.

Sgt. Aini says that more charges are forthcoming, from the Steuben County District Attorney’s Office.
