Hornell School District’s Capital Project Update

January 6, 2015

HORNELL, NY – Monday night, the Hornell City School District held its first meeting of 2015. The board heard a construction report from Welliver Project manager, Andy Billotte.

Billotte announced that the $ 52.7 million dollar project is nearly complete and they are now waiting on the approval for use of $300,000 dollars to start an outlay project, renovating a few bathrooms at the Junior / Senior high School. The funds are from a line item that was in the City District budget, which will not require a loan, thus saving the School district money from accrued interest.
