STEUBEN COUNTY, NY – Wlea and Fun 92.1, Wckr Radio in Hornell New York, need a control board operator to play commercials during ballgames. This is a good, entry level job for someone who is seeking work in the media. If you are an aspiring sports announcer, this would be a great start, as you’ll be on the phone with our local play by play announcers during games, mostly during the commercial breaks (off the air). This job duty would give you a great sense of how to announce sports on the radio. Other duties include playing the commercials during Buffalo Bills games. This job could eventually and possibly turn into other duties (news reporter and sports play by play). Knowledge of Adobe Audition and other audio editing software programs would be helpful.
