HARTSVILLE, NY – At the Wednesday night Hartsville monthly meeting, town clerk Kay Miles spoke for several minutes, complaining about residents John and Carol Bowels. Miles maintains that they were “vicious” and had been making burdensome freedom of information requests for years.
John Bowles says the reason the June 29th FOIL request was so large was because for years he tried to get financial documents with limited success. Bowles also described his experience with Miles as frustrating and said that her statement about the Bowles being “vicious” was rude.
