FRIENDSHIP, NY – State Police say that a man from Cheyenne, Wyoming man sustained fatal injuries from a one vehicle accident on I-86 in the Allegany County Town of Friendship.
Around 2:45 PM on Saturday, Larry W. Bush, 66, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer and traveled across both eastbound lanes and onto the center median.
According to state police, the vehicle then returned to the highway, at which point it overturned and came to rest on the passenger side.
Larry Bush was air lifted to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight where he later died.
Part of Interstate 86 was closed due to the accident but has since re-opened.
The investigation continues.
