No More Public Comment At Hornellsville Meetings

August 12 2014
HORNELLSVILLE, NY – After months of long speeches and questions aimed that Hornellsville Town Supervisor Ken Isaman and Hornellsville Clerk Sheryl Isaman, there is a new rule at Hornellsville meetings: no more public comment.

Supervisor Ken Isaman maintains that town officials are having a hard time doing their jobs.  According to Isaman, Hornellsville has several thousand people, and a small group is taking up all the Hornellsville officials time and energy.  Town Attorney Pat McAllister explained that there is no “right to speak” law at public meetings, and that the board does not have to, by law, let people talk.
