October 24: Update On Allegany Co Covid Statistics

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 8.4 million people, and there have been over 223,000 deaths. According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 491,771 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 25,705 deaths statewide. As of 9:00 p.m. on October 22, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

Confirmed Cases: 295
Recovered Cases: 199
COVID-19 Related Deaths: 8*
Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date: 2,364
Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 2,004
Currently Quarantined/Isolated: 360
Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date: 1,123
Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given: 823
Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives: 46
