Painted Post Man Jailed After Three Arrests in Month

A 37-year-old man from Painted Post was arrested this weekend for the third time in less than a month for allegedly threatening violence against someone protected under a court-issued order of protection. Thomas Whitehead was charged by Troopers with first degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense, according to Corning City Police Chief Jeff Spaulding. Whitehead is currently being held in Steuben County Jail on $1,000 cash bail.
