BATH, NY – Numerous media outlets are reporting that a patient at the Bath VA Hospital, is accused of providing Fentanyl to two other patients at the Bath VA in February. Both of the patients reportedly went through and survived overdoses of the drug. The patient who is accused of providing the Fentanyl is 34 year old Matthew Helmer of Hyde Park, NY. Helmer is facing federal charges.
