On November 10th, 2020 The Canisteo Village Police Department arrested Matthew A. Nosar (Age 25) of County Route 71 Jasper, New York for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree stemming from a traffic stop in the Village of Canisteo. Nosar was in possession of a methamphetamine. Nosar was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Canisteo Village Court at a later date.
On November 10th, 2020 The Canisteo Village Police Department arrested Brieanna M. Olson (Age 24) of State Route 417 in Jasper, New York for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana stemming from a traffic stop in the Village of Canisteo. Olson was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Canisteo Village Court at a later date.
On November 13th, 2020 The Canisteo Village Police Department arrested Eric T. Bebout (Age 31) of Seneca Road North in Hornell, New York for Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree, Harassment in the 1st Degree and Menacing in the 3rd Degree. This incident stemmed off a domestic incident in the Village of Canisteo. Bebout was transported to the Steuben County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
On November 14th, 2020 The Canisteo Village Police Department arrested Randall T. Plank Jr (Age 42) of County Route 14 in Bath, New York for Fleeing of an Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, Failure to Obey a Police Officer, Reckless Driving, 3 counts of Unsafe Turn, No Tail Lamps, Fail to keep right, moved from lane unsafely and speed not reasonable and prudent. This incident stemmed from an attempted traffic stop in the Village of Canisteo when Plank fled from the traffic stop and took officers on a pursuit. Plank was later located by officers at his residence. Plank was issued several tickets and appearance tickets to appear in Canisteo Village Court at a later date. This incident was assisted by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Officer and the New York State Police.
On November 16th, 2020 The Canisteo Village Police Department arrested and 18 year old male, 17 year old male and 13 year old male all of Canisteo, New York for Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree. The 18 year old male was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Canisteo Village Court at a later date and the other two males were issued juvenile appearance tickets to appear in Steuben County Family Court at a later date.
On November 16th, 2020 The Canisteo Village Police Department arrested Eric T. Bebout (Age 31) of Seneca Road North in Hornell, New York for Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree (Class E Felony) as Bebout violated a court order of protection by contacting a protected victim via phone when mandated not to. Bebout was already remanded in the Steuben County Jail and was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Canisteo Village Court at a later date.
