Reed: Obamacare Will Get Worse, Before it Gets Better

March 28, 2017

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Tom Reed (R, Corning) says that with the failure of the repeal of Obamacare, things will get worse before it gets better. “The reality of the day is that health care in America is going to get worse before it get’s better,” Reed said during his weekly press call on Monday. “But the question has to be asked, when the senator (Schumer) talks about working with Democrats, is ‘what Democrats are we going to work with?'”

Reed continued. “Ones that are carrying on an extreme agenda, and are represented by the fringe left, as well as the issues that we face from the fringe right, is single payer health care the future of America? Because I’ve heard the senator talk about single payer health care as a solution, that’s complete government control/government run health care, from my perspective, that’s extreme.”
