April 1, 2022

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Tom Reed voted against House Resolution 3617, the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment And Expungement Act, which among other things, will remove marijuana from the controlled substance list and marijuana will be decriminalized.

The legislation also ends mandatory job drug testing for marijuana and sets up some sort of trust fund related to marijuana, though they don’t say in the text of the legislation what that is exactly for.

HR 3617 passed in the house today.
