JAMESTOWN, NY – Former Congressman Stan Lundine of Jamestown, is endorsing Democrat Tracy Mitrano (D, Penn Yan) in the race for the Tom Reed seat in the house. “I’m proud to announce my endorsement of Tracy Mitrano as the next Congresswoman for New York’s 23rd Congressional District. As a native Western New Yorker, I know that Tracy has the commitment and competence to provide effective leadership for our region and the nation. She knows the importance of education and how education is the pathway to improving people’s lives. She knows that working and middle-class families are the backbone of this district, and she will work diligently to make sure that we create an economy that works for all of us.
America is at a crossroads. We are not well-served by a Congressman who gets along by going along. We need a leader who will fight for our values in Congress, and I believe that Tracy Mitrano is that leader.”
Lundine was a congressman for our area, from 1983 to 1986.
