Allegany County, NY – The Village of Alfred is extending their state of emergency, for another month. See below:
Over the weekend, Allegany County DOH reported three more documented cases of Covid-19 and the number of cases is still climbing all over the US. It is essential that we work together within our various purviews to keep one another and ourselves safe and healthy.
As of today, I will be extending the State of Emergency declaration for another 30 days. I look forward to the day when we will have worked together in all levels of government in New York State to remove the threat. Under those circumstances we will be able to relax a bit, but not entirely, until there is a vaccine.
