Troopers Raid Jasper Home – Report Finding Guns and Drugs

State Police report that on Friday, April 12, the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, Troop”E” Uniform Force, NYSP Special Operations Response Team (SORT) and the Elmira Police Department conducted a narcotic investigation at State Route 417 in the Town of Jasper. Troopers say that investigators seized approximately 16 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and US currency. Andrew Diffenbacher, 36, of ST-RT 417, Jasper, was charged with criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (class B Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree (class D Felony). Diffenbacher was remanded to the Steuben County Jail awaiting arraignment.

The arrests stemmed from an investigation conducted by the New York State Police and the Elmira Police Department.
