Two Charged in Avoca Burglary

Two suspects are in custody, accused of breaking into a store in Avoca and stealing several items.

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports the break-in occurred at the Avoca Country Market earlier this week.

Their investigation led to the arrest of a 17 year old from Avoca, charging him with third degree Burglary. A 22 year old from Campbell was also arrested, he is charged with Conspiracy, for allegedly helping to plan and execute the burglary.

Both are now in Steuben County Jail in lieu of bail.

An investigation continues and deputies say further charges are pending.
