HORNELL, NY – From Hornell Police:
Shortly after 04:00 a.m. on June 13th 2021, the Hornell Police Department responded to a residence on Hill Street in the City of Hornell for a report of two unresponsive adults. Upon arrival at the scene police located two deceased males. Initial investigation indicates that both men had died after being involved in drug usage. The investigation is ongoing and both men were transferred to Broome County for complete autopsies.
Hornell Police alerts all citizens again of the dangers imposed with the usage of any unprescibed drug. Those needing assistance with addiction are urged to contact the Hornell Police Department at (607)324-2860 for assistance through our Divert program.
The Hornell Police Department was assisted by members of the New York State Police during the investigation.
