Today is Tuesday March 16, Village Election Day.
Canisteo – Maayor Monica Recktenwald is running for re-election, as are trustees Jack Beers and Paul Cone.
Alfred – Four candidates are running unopposed: trustees Peter McClain, James Ninos, Mayor Becky Prophet and Village Justice Wende Bush.
North Hornell – there are two seats up: village trustees Josh Greenthal (D) and Joseph Flint (R), and former board member Pete Diarumdo is running for one of the seats occupied by Greenthal or Flint.
Arkport – village trustees Michael Brewer & Erza Geist are running for re-election.
