HORNELL, NY – Hornell High School students won a bunch of gold and 1st place awards at a choir show in Williamsburg, Virginia over the weekend.
Here’s the list of awards they received:
Senior: Gold
Chamber: Gold
Treble: Gold
Jazz: Gold
Sweepstakes Award: Best Choral Program – 1st Place (out of 17 choirs)
Maestro Award: Marcus Tingley, Excellence As A Soloist
Ovation Award: Student of Distinction – Chloe Van Casseelle (out of 92 students)
They have also been invited to go to Carnegie Hall.
The Hornell students were greeted with cheers when they came back into town on Sunday night.
