Alfred State College Student Was Stabbed

February 12, 2017

ALFRED, NY – The Wellsville Regional News website reports that an Alfred State College student was stabbed on Sunday morning at an off-campus house party. “Alfred Police Chief Paul Griffith told us this afternoon that the unidentified injured student was found walking on Mill Street near GJ’s shortly after 2 a.m. and an ambulance was called,” Michael Baldwin of the Regional News website wrote. “Griffith said the student was stabbed in the leg and was taken to St. James Hospital in Hornell where he was treated and released.”

According to the Wellsville Regional News page, a male was seen later running into Shults Hall at Alfred State College, but students would not say anything when asked by Alfred Police, and Police Chief Griffith called it a “wall of silence”.

The investigation continues.
