CANISTEO, NY – State Troopers report that they arrested Matthew Houston, 24, Canisteo, charging him with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. State Police say that Houston was arrested subsequent to a traffic stop and allegedly found to possess a quantity of suspected heroin and cocaine, with intent to sell the narcotics. He was arraigned in the village of Canisteo court and remanded to Steuben County Jail on $25,000/$50,000 bail.

Hornell DPW Chief Mitch Cornish has ordered another Boil Water Order. This one is for Hornellsville District 1, Airport Road, Industrial Park Road and Seneca Road North (North of Route 21). This is due to a water main break.
