BUFFALO, NY – The Catholic bishop of Buffalo, along with the Archbishop of Omaha Nebraska, issued a statement this week in protest of President Obama’s executive order on allowing students who are transgender to use the bathroom that they choose to.
“Children, youth, and parents in these difficult situations deserve compassion, sensitivity, and respect. All of these can be expressed without infringing on legitimate concerns about privacy and security on the part of the other young students and parents,” wrote the bishops.
