In 2023, PMJ Communications, WLEA/WCKR, had two control board operators, Will Pirtle and Jarred Kiefer. Pirtle did sports related control board work in the late winter/early spring, leaving us to take a job elsewhere. Jarred Kiefer started work for us in July, doing control board work, usually on Sunday mornings, to play the WABC Show, The Cats Roundtable. Marissa Warriner came in to our radio stations, usually about once per month, to do occasional book keeping duties. Brian O’Neil continued in 2023 as music programmer for WCKR, News Director for WLEA, anchoring newscasts, hosting the WLEA Newsmaker Show, a 25 minute local morning show focused on local news, politics as well as some state and national political analysis from elected officials and local college professors. Glenn Lee, who has been with our company since 1979, performs Operation Manager and Commercial Traffic/Billing duties. Seth Neal did an internship during the summer, helping to develop ads for our website. Todd Burritt was our sales manager throughout 2023, and was assisted by Bonnie Willey and David Prete. David Prete also did a weekend sports show from January 2023 until November 2023, when he left the show hosting duties. Everett Davison started in October, doing reporter duties, covering local town/village meetings.
