Statement From Alderwoman Jessica Cleveland:
Jessica Cleveland (R,C,I-6th Ward) is seeking re-election for a 3rd term as 6th Ward Alderwoman in the City of Hornell. I am excited to announce that I am seeking another term for representing the 6th Ward on the Common Council. The experience of serving the residents of the 6th Ward the past few years has been tremendously rewarding and I look forward to continuing to work as their advocate in local government. I feel I have provided dependable, consistent attendance and representation to the Common Council meetings, as well within the various committees such as Quality of Life, Planning and Development, Policies and Procedures, HAT Commission and Youth and Recreation. However, I’m most proud of my direct work for those in the 6th ward and connecting them to the appropriate City department to resolve a concern and improve their quality of life. I pledge to continue this work as an advocate, as well as to continue to collaborate with Common Council members and City Hall to best serve and represent the residents of the 6th ward.
