Rochester media outlets are reporting that a 21 year old male from Boston Massachusetts, Kelvin Vickers, is the suspect in the ambush shooting of two Rochester Police Officers, who were shot on Thursday night in Rochester.
From the Monroe County Sheriff’s Dept: “A career criminal has stolen a precious Police Officer from our community. We hope intense investigation conducted by the Rochester NY Police Department will secure justice for Officers Mazurkiewicz and Seng. Incredible outpouring of support by all area agencies who responded to assist without flinching.”
Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz died after the Thursday night shooting on Bauman Avenue, and Officer Seng is recovering at home.
