TROOPERS: Hornellsville Resident Terrorized By Alleged Rochester Drug Dealers

On October 1, 2018, the New York State Police from the Wayland, N. Hornell, and Bath barracks responded to a report of a robbery at Seneca Manor Apartments in the town of Hornellsville. The 31-year-old victim reported that he was tied up with bed sheets and threatened with deadly physical force.
During the subsequent investigation Deangelo Phillips, 19, of 19 Arch St., Rochester was arrested and charged with Kidnapping in the 2nd degree (class B felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree (class B felony). Additionally, Detric Marshall, 35, of 29 Portage St., Rochester, NY was arrested with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree (class B felony). Both had been operating as drug dealers in the Hornell area for several months.
Phillips was arraigned at Bath Town Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail and $100,000 bond. Marshal was arraigned at Fremont Town Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in Lieu of no bail.
