CANISTEO, NY – When the doors at Beavers Pharmacy close at 7pm tonight, they will not be reopening tomorrow. The longtime Canisteo Pharmacy is going to close permanently tonight. “We at Beavers Pharmacy would like to let everyone know that today is our last day of operation,” said Tim Steffi to Wlea News. “We would definitely like to thank everyone in the community, the community itself, and everyone in the surrounding area, we just thank them for their patronage, just coming to know them, they’re like family to us, and we’re just going to miss everyone beyond belief, it’s just come to an end today.”
Beavers had been operating in Canisteo for about 100 years.
