Congressman Tom Reed (R, Corning) has issued a statement about a school in Ithaca, where school officials are admitting that they brought in an activist to talk about human rights problems in Israel.
“I was disturbed by reports from parents and in the media detailing an anti-Israel presentation by liberal activists at an Ithaca elementary school,” Reed stated.” “This episode shows a lack of good judgement by the teachers and administrators that sanctioned a presentation that was neither balanced nor age appropriate. It should be clear that this type of propaganda has no place in our public school system.”
