MONROE COUNTY, NY – Military.com reports that a 102 year old D-Day veteran from Fairport, died on the way to Normandy for the anniversary of the WWII Allied invasion.
Officials say that the veteran, Robert “Al” Persichitti, died in Germany 10 days ago before reaching France.
