2023 Village Election Results

ARKPORT – The winners of the trustee races were Mike Brewer and Ezra Geist, both were re-elected, there were 36 votes for Mike Brewer, and 32 votes for Ezra Geist.

CANISTEO – In Village of Canisteo Elections, the winners in the village trustee races were Jack Beers who got 132 votes and James Dineen who got 144 votes, Mayor Monica Recktenwald won re-election getting 157 votes.

NORTH HORNELL – In North Hornell village elections, there were two village trustee races, the winners were Leroy Forshee, who got 34 votes and Joseph Flint, who recieved 33 votes.

ALFRED – Jim Ninos won the mayors race, receiving a total of 41 votes, both Democrats and Republicans voted for Ninos. Tim Nichols won a trustee’s race, getting 33 votes, all Democrat votes for Nichols. Also, Peter McClain got 41 votes in his race for re-election on the village board of trustees, that was a combined total from both Democrats and Republicans, that supported McClain.

ALMOND – Village Trustee candidates Bill Lockwood, Catherine Cardet and Andrea McMahon all won their races last night in Almond. Bill Lockwood is an incumbent, and Andrea McMahon won the David Giles seat, to fill the remainder of the unfinshed Giles’ term, as Giles resigned due to moving out of the village. Catherine Cardet won last night and is taking over for Tim Drum, as Drum also moved outside of village limits.
