BATH, NY – The Corning Leader reports that the defense attorney for Thomas Clayton tried to get a mistrial, arguing that because Michael Beard stated at one point, that he was pressured into a confession, that there should be a mistrial.
The Leader also reports that Judge Peter Bradstreet quickly denied the motion for a mistrial.
