HORNELL, NY – Alstom employees in Hornell got an email on Tuesday, telling them that Alstom is merging with a company from Germany called Siemens. One top source at Alstom in Hornell says this will not have any negative impact on the Alstom deal with Amtrak. We called Mayor Shawn Hogan who confirmed that, “It’s all positive,” Hogan told Wlea News.
The company’s name will be Siemens-Alstom by next year.
