“We are saddened to hear of the allegations of sexual harassment which have been made against Governor Andrew Cuomo. In the political world we are quick to jump on the worthy opposition when allegations of wrong doing are made and it should be no different when allegations such as these are made against our Party leader. We support a fully independent investigation of these allegations and ask the Governor and his entire staff to fully cooperate with said investigation. The Governor should make a full throated and sincere apology and explain this situation publicly and transparently. We are eager for a complete and in-depth investigative report to be completed and released by the New York State Attorney General.”
