ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY – From State Police: On November 3, SP Amity Troopers arrested Maria L Smith, 28, of Dansville, for Criminal Contempt in the first degree. Troopers determined that Smith had failed to appear to testify at the Allegany County Court house for grand jury on October 20, 2021, after having been served a grand jury subpoena in September 2021. Smith was arrested and transported to SP Amity for processing.
Smith was issued an appearance ticket for the village of Belmont court, where she is to appear in November 2021.
