ALFRED, NY – Alfred University President, Dr. Mark Zupan, called Wlea News this afternoon and gave us the following statement: “We are not considering changing the moniker at Alfred University.”
Wlea News recently reported that there had been group discussions at the university, about the team name/moniker, “Saxons.”
