Canisteo Mayor Monica Recktenwald says the state has turned off the electric outlet in the village park. That happened because the person with a rental car that had an out of state plate, used it to charge her car an electric car. The mayor asked the New York State Department of Transporation to keep the outlets off until the construction is done.
Construction is going to he finished at the of the summer.
